One of our tasks was to make a creative critical reflection for our Foundation Portfolio based on four questions, so I used Microsoft PowerPoint to create slides to answer each question individually. I then used Quickplayer to screen record the slides and discuss them. These are the answers to the questions. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1n_6K8RglJTRlQ3Oe9BTAxrLG1M2cxYFy/view?usp=sharing
Risk Assessment

My project and location didn't really have many risks involved other than potential household injuries, such as slipping on the floor or getting a cooking burn. I had to make sure the sizzling oil from the cooking did not touch the lens of the camera. We chose an environment like this on purpose, so that it's as risk free as possible making it safe for the actors and us.

Once the sequence was rendered, I had to go through the entire film a couple of times to spot any major or minor faults. Once I knew the film was fully done, I sent it to our media studies teacher for approval. The final cut was now ready to be exported. I opened the export window and changed the settings. The format had to be set to H.64. The preset was set to none, and the name was changed to AS Media Film Opening. I checked the maximum render quality to ensure the project is of the highest quality. I uploaded the project on Web 2.O, Youtube, and Facebook.

I made a short timelapse video with a song to go along with it. I wanted to give it a retro effect hence I added the glitch effect aswell. The song is Dennis by Roy Blair. I believe the cars provide it with an old school nostalgia. And the song beat adds to the early times as the singer continues to reminisce about memories from the past.

I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit, and the first thing that had to come was the Roughcut. I made this by compiling all of the footage chronologically. And as the movie progressed, I had to use the razor tool to cut accordingly. I arranged them as the story went further. We added dynamics to the story by each second we edited. This allowed me to have a rough cut prepared. The next step was colour grade and add the optimum and prominent effects. We had to add top and bottom bars to create a very cinematic look. This was done over several adjustment layers. Then I had to pay special attention to shots that needed extra stabilisation. For this, the effect warp stabiliser was especially helpful. There were a few clips of whose speed was also to be adjusted. These clips had to be 'nested' in order to have warp stabiliser applied to them. This further allowed the quality to be enhanced. It started to look even more high definition. After the proce...
Poster Competition

I participated in a competition for Women's Day. We had to make a poster against gender-based violence. The ceremony for the winners and participants will be held in mid march. Worked very hard on this. I took the picture of the girl by a pop art girl with orange hair. I removed her makeup, nose, and lips. I used red hair to signify the movement's name Orange The World Movement. Their theme color is orange. Also I used red to blend with it. So it would cause a violent effect.
